Sterling Silver Mimbres 6-link bracelet$179.00This collection was inspired by beautiful prehistoric pottery taken from ruins in and around the Mimbres River valley area of southwestern New Mexico. Over 7000 pieces of this wonderful pottery, most produced between 1000-1150 A.D. have found their way into museums and private collections. The Mimbres potters worked freehand, using brushes made from the stiff pointed leaves of yucca plants. The hair ties are for both men and women. See matching earrings and hair ties.

Boulder turquoise link bracelet$289.00Nevada has been an important source of turquoise since prehistoric time. Host rocks are lime stone, shale, or metamorphosed volcanic and sedimentary rocks. This turquoise normally forms narrow veinlets or small nodules along altered zones. The mine is located in northeast Nevada. It was originally discovered in the 1970’s by a Shoshone sheep herder who stumbled upon a vein of turquoise on the hillside while tending sheep. Production from the property has been small due to the limited amount of time allowed to mine due to the remote location and winter weather conditions. Boulder Turquoise is valued both its beauty and rarity.

Hatchita Turquoise Cuff bracelet$185.00The Hachita turquoise mining activity dates from pre-historic to 1905. Hachita was also called "Azure", but also went by many other names. Hachita turquoise is from a group of mines near Old Hachita, Grant County, New Mexico. They include the Azure, Cameo, Galilee, and Aztec claims. The name "Hachita" comes from the Spanish term for "Little Hatchet". The small town itself was located in the foothills of the Little Hatchet Mountains in the Hachita Valley.
